Creative Art & Design

Incorporating Creative Art and Design ito into our curriculum gives students the skills, concepts and knowledge necessary for them to express their responses to ideas and experiences in a visual or tactile form. It fires their imagination and is a fundamental means of personal expression.

Religious Education & Bible Study

The Ark Christian School encourages children to study the Bible. Through Bible study, we teach them to put their trust and faith in the Lord and that with Him by their side, they have the strength to overcome any challenge that they may face now or in the future.

French

At The Ark, we strive to give children the chance to enjoy and succeed in speaking French, and to have confidence that they can learn a new, foreign language. Children at The Ark have the opportunity to learn to read, speak and begin to write French, as well as, develop an intercultural understanding of another country. Activities at The Ark are stimulating, engaging and challenging. The teaching and learning of French is relevant and meaningful for our children and incorporates some child-led learning. Language will be used naturally and reinforced in everyday contexts so that children are able to develop their abilities subconsciously. Intercultural understanding is at the heart of our incorporating French into our curriculum, teaching and as a result, we aim to encourage children who are knowledgeable and accepting of other cultures. We want our children to be able to make connections between their own local experiences and those of others internationally.

Extra Curricular Activities

We provide a platform for children to develop more skills in other learning areas. After school Clubs include; Scouting & girl guides, Ballet, Music, Robotics & Chess
