WHAT WE TEACH

At The Ark International School, we understand that every child is unique and has different needs. That’s why we offer both the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum and the Uganda National curriculum, separately, giving parents the choice to pick the one that best suits their child. Our ACE curriculum, an international Christian curriculum that is individualized, promotes academic self-learning and emphasizes character growth through Biblically-based principles.

While the Uganda National curriculum, designed for the 21st Century Child, provides a well-rounded education that caters to the individual needs of each child.

Our dedicated team of mentors will guide and encourage your child to become a responsible, reliable and compassionate individual who will positively impact their community for Christ. Give your child the best education tailored to their needs, join us at The Ark International School today.”

The school is well resourced, enabling children to learn through play, investigation, experimentation and practical involvement. Children are encouraged to interact with others; this enhances their learning process and develops their social skills.

My S.P.A.C.E

French

At The Ark, we strive to give children the chance to enjoy and succeed in speaking French, and to have confidence that they can learn a new, foreign language. Children at The Ark have the opportunity to learn to read, speak and begin to write French, as well as, develop an intercultural understanding of another country. Activities at The Ark are stimulating, engaging and challenging. The teaching and learning of French is relevant and meaningful for our children and incorporates some child-led learning. Language will be used naturally and reinforced in everyday contexts so that children are able to develop their abilities subconsciously. Intercultural understanding is at the heart of our incorporating French into our curriculum, teaching and as a result, we aim to encourage children who are knowledgeable and accepting of other cultures. We want our children to be able to make connections between their own local experiences and those of others internationally.
